Privacy Policy

Version 2026-08-20 · Last updated 20 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information Breviity collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It covers this marketing site and the demo-request form on it.

It does not cover the Breviity product itself. Where Breviity processes your organisation’s communications inside the platform, we act as a processor under the agreement signed with that organisation, and that agreement governs, not this policy.

1. Who we are

Breviity is a brand of Progilex Innovations Private Limited, which provides an AI layer for workplace communication. For the information described in this policy, Progilex Innovations Private Limited is the data controller, which means we decide why and how it is processed.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@breviity.com. Our registered office is at Room 907, Building No. 9, May Flower, Everestworld-II, Dhokali, Sandozbaugh, Thane, Maharashtra, 400607, India. Questions about privacy are handled by our grievance officer, named in section 12.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

If you submit the demo-request form, we collect the fields you fill in:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your work email address
  • Your company name, and optionally its size band
  • Any message you choose to write
  • The fact that you ticked the consent box, the exact wording of the consent statement shown to you at the time, and the version of this policy it referred to

The consent record exists so that we can demonstrate what you agreed to, and when. It is stored alongside your submission and is not used for any other purpose.

Information we collect automatically

When you submit the form, our server also records:

  • Your IP address, taken from the request
  • Your browser’s user-agent string
  • The page that referred you, if your browser sent one
  • Campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content), where present
  • Anti-spam signals: whether a hidden field was filled in, how long the form took to complete, and the result of the bot check if one is enabled

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and move through this website, but only if you agree to it. Until you accept, it is switched off and sets nothing. If you do accept, it records information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, roughly where in the world you are, and the type of browser and device you use. We do not run advertising or ad-retargeting scripts at all.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Responding to your enquiry. We use your name, email, company and message to contact you about your request and to prepare a relevant demonstration. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.

Keeping the form usable. We use the IP address, timing and anti-spam signals to stop automated abuse and to rate-limit submissions. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and our records clean.

Understanding how the site is used. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and how they arrive, so we can improve the site. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Proving consent. We keep the consent statement and policy version to meet our accountability obligations. Our lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies

We ask before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary. On your first visit you will see a short banner with a clear choice, and analytics stays switched off unless you accept.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_HJKTGEHYTZ, which distinguish one visitor from another. Google sets them to last two years, though current browsers cap cookies set this way at around 13 months, and some shorten them further. They tell us how many people use the site and which pages they read. They do not identify you by name, and we do not use them for advertising.

One cookie is set either way: __Host-bv_consent records the choice you made, for 180 days, so we do not ask again on every page. If you decline, this is the only cookie this site stores. It is strictly necessary in the sense that without it we could not remember that you said no. Our Cookie Policy describes the categories in full.

If a bot check is enabled on the demo form, that check is provided by Cloudflare and may set a token strictly to verify that the submission came from a person. It is not used to track you across sites.

You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Turning analytics off there also deletes the analytics cookies already in your browser. You can additionally opt out of Google Analytics across every website you visit with Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you decline.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our instructions, and only so far as they need to:

  • Microsoft Azure, for hosting this website and the database that stores form submissions
  • Cloudflare, for bot verification on the demo form, where enabled
  • Google (Google Analytics), which processes website analytics on our behalf

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Beyond that, we do not pass your information to anyone else.

6. Where your information is held

Submissions are stored in a managed database hosted in the region we have selected with our cloud provider. Where information is transferred outside the country you are in, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses where they apply. You can ask us which region your data is held in.

7. How long we keep it

We delete on a schedule rather than keeping records indefinitely. Our retention periods are:

  • IP address and user-agent: erased 90 days after the submission
  • The rest of the submission, including your name, email, company and message: deleted 24 months after the submission

If you ask us to erase your information sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep it. If you become a customer, the record may be retained for the life of that relationship under the agreement with your organisation.

8. How we protect it

The form is served over HTTPS and submitted to our own server, never to a third-party form service. Access to the stored submissions is restricted: the web application can add new records but cannot read, change or export existing ones, so a compromise of the website does not expose the enquiry history. Database credentials are issued to a managed identity rather than being stored as static passwords, and connections to the database are encrypted.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information and is likely to present a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Have your information erased
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
  • Receive your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, which stops future processing based on it but does not undo what was lawful beforehand
  • Complain to your data-protection authority if you believe we have handled your information improperly

To exercise any of these, email contact@breviity.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows, and we will not charge you for a reasonable request. We may need to verify your identity before we act. If you are unhappy with our response, our grievance officer is named in section 12.

10. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the version and date at the top of this page. Where the change materially affects what you agreed to, we will record the new version against submissions made from that point onward, so it is always clear which wording applied to a given enquiry. We will not apply a material change retroactively to information already collected under an earlier version.

12. Grievance officer

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information, or with our response to a request you made under this policy, you can raise it with our grievance officer, who can be reached directly at grievance@breviity.com.
